KARANTO FIANO 2008

Fiano is a premium white wine variety of the Campania Region of Southern Italy. It has a long wine making history dating back to Roman times when it was know as ‘Apianum’ or ‘Vitis Apiana’. Karanto has established a small block of Fiano.

The 2008 vintage has produced a straw coloured wine with some vibrant green hues, a complex nose with hints of basil, rosemary, oranges and honey and a luscious lingering palate of herbs and honey.  Becoming known as the red wine lovers choice of white wine.
It is well suited to pasta, Asian or seafood.
To best appreciate the flavours of this wine, it should be served
                  only slightly chilled.
