Karanto 2007 Aglianico won a Gold medal and the Trophy for Best Other Red Varietal at the recent 2009 Small Vignerons Wine Awards in Winewise Magazine.

The Langhorne Creek Wine Showcase 2009 event produced a 'Best Alternative Variety' Trophy for the Karanto Aglianico 2007. The newer alternative varieties in Australia building a new following for wine lovers.
